Relax with rod and line in beautiful Sussex countryside — what better way to spend a day?
Nestling in 32 acres of Sussex’s finest countryside, close to junction 10 of the M23, the fishery is located centrally between London and the South Coast. The main lake, roughly eight and a half acres with 30 swims, was established over 200 years ago. Originally, it formed part of the Wentworth Park Estate.
Each swim has been carefully constructed to allow a bivvy and has been modernised to accommodate all types of angling, with purpose-built paths to all swims and a carefully screened border.
The lake currently holds a high level of carp with several over 20lb; tench; crucian; perch; roach and rudd. We plan to introduce carp up to 40lb as soon as fish are available as part of the lake’s development.
Pleasure catches have been in excess of 240lb in five hour sessions.
